This educational dinner, Updates for STIs and TB in the DMV Area, will be presented by Ms. Leah Lujan RN, MSN, FNP-BC, the STD & TB Control Division Deputy Chief, and hosted by the Nurse Practitioner Association of DC (NPADC).

Join us for an informative evening including updates for:

1. Sexually transmitted infections (STI) updates and epidemiological data from the DMV area
2. STI treatment and prevention
3. Tuberculosis epidemiological updates and what you need to know

Leah Lujan RN, MSN, FNP-BC

STD & TB Control Division Deputy Chief
NP Supervisor at DC Health and Wellness Center

Leah is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who serves as the Deputy Chief of the STD and TB Control Division, part of the HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis, STD and TB Administration. Prior to her work at DC Health, Leah provided primary care at La Clinica del Pueblo, a federally qualified health center predominantly serving the local Latino population, with an emphasis on HIV care and prevention and gender affirming services. Before this, she spent 7 years working as an RN in the Emergency Department at George Washington University Hospital. She received both her BSN and MSN from Georgetown University.
