Overview
This 1-hour educational seminar for healthcare professionals focuses on unmet goals in diabetes care. The program will describe the clinical and economic burdens of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), including the direct and indirect costs of T2DM. The discussion will also include identifying the impact of T2DM on morbidity and mortality and
understanding and quantifing the impact of meeting and not meeting glycemic goals. The format is designed to provide opportunities for discussion and the exchange of ideas.
