Position Description

ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health North Hospital, located in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, are seeking an experienced B/C Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide patient care in their Emergency Department.

Two years of Emergency Medicine experience as a B/C Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is required.

Employment by ECU Health Physicians - Community Practice Model

Hospital privileges at ECU Health North Hospital, a 204-bed community hospital

Growing 9-hospital physician led healthcare system

26-bed Emergency Department

Emergency Department provider team includes 8 physicians and 4 advanced practice providers

Schedule includes (14) 10-hour shifts per month

24-hour hospitalist and radiology coverage

Full scope of services provided at hospital including General Surgery, OBGYN, Orthopedics, Primary Care, Oncology, Behavioral Health, Cardiology, Urology, and Pediatrics

Strong air and ground support to immediately transfer patients to ECU Health Medical Center, a level 1 trauma center located in Greenville, NC

Conveniently located halfway between Raleigh, NC and Richmond, VA

Applicants will be required to have BLS certification from The American Heart Association
