Outpatient Oncology/Hematology, NP/PA

ChristianaCare is recruiting for a NP/PA to join our Oncology Hematology Department which is located at the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center. This is a full-time Monday – Friday position in the office and inpatient rounding. The selected candidate will also rotate at our Wilmington hospital, Oncology program to support the chemotherapy program. The Oncology Hematology Department has 8 Physicians and 5 APC's and clinical staff to help support.  

The selected candidate will be responsible for services that include team-based care management and treatment of Oncology and/or Hematology patients; to include but not limited to care planning,  cancer screening/surveillance,  chemotherapy symptom management,  pain management, patient education, communication with patients and families, ensuring continuity of care across range of clinical settings, attention of spiritual comfort and psychosocial support, bereavement support, and hospice care.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioners Program or graduate of an Accredited Physician Assistant program.

• Three years of experience of a NP/PA preferred.

• Oncology, symptom management, triage and urgent care experience preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
