Location: Collegeville, PA

Description:

Job Type

  • Full-time: Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week
  • Open to new graduates 

Responsibilities

  • Manage health issues related to allergies, asthma, and immunology
  • Work independently and collaboratively with physicians and nursing staff
  • Conduct history and physical exams for new and established patients
  • Prescribe medications and order diagnostic/lab tests based on patient needs
  • Develop and implement care plans and treatment plans
  • Provide efficient, patient-focused service in a fast-paced practice
  • Collaborate with ancillary staff and management to support core values
  • Travel to satellite offices as needed

Qualifications

  • BSN with current licensure to practice nursing in the appropriate state
  • Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensure
  • 1-2 years of primary care experience
  • Strong computer skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • CPR certification and valid driver's license required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

Skills

  • Effective communication (fluent in English, able to interpret documents and communicate with staff and patients)
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, handbooks, policies, patient care plans, and procedure manuals

Physical Demands

  • Regular use of hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
  • Frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, bending, and sitting (clinic staff may stand or walk 80% of the shift)
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
  • Specific communication abilities including the ability to talk and hear to converse, convey, express oneself, and exchange information

Work Environment

  • Moderate noise level, standard lighting
  • Potential exposure to infectious waste, allergens, diseases, and conditions
