Introspection Counseling Center, LLC is a premier multi-state mental health counseling center serving adults in Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina. We are thrilled to announce the anticipated opening of our new location in Wilmington, DE.
We are looking for highly motivated, client-centered PMHNPs who are passionate about providing high quality medication management services.

- As 1099 independent contractors our clinicians are autonomous, set their own schedules, and determine their caseload.

- Hybrid working location allowing for in-person and telehealth sessions
- High insurance reimbursement rates and a billing team with a 99% collection contributing to high revenue potential for clinicians.
- Integrated EHR system that includes full e-prescribe and EPCS capabilities, built-in lab orders, and HIPAA-compliant video conferencing for telehealth sessions.
- Guidance and support around ethical coding to optimize insurance reimbursement for services
- Next-level administrative staff support nurse practitioners with managing their schedule, referral management, and collecting insurance and patient balances
- Compensation – 70/30 percentage split with hassle-free bi-weekly direct deposit payments
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Psychiatric Assessment: Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments of patients, including comprehensive medical history, mental status exams, and review of psychosocial factors.
- Diagnosis and Treatment: Formulate accurate psychiatric diagnoses and develop individualized treatment plans, which may include medication management, psychotherapy, and other therapeutic interventions.
- Medication Management: Prescribe, monitor, and adjust psychiatric medications as needed to optimize patient outcomes. Educate patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and risks.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, coping strategies, and self-management techniques.
- Crisis Intervention: Offer crisis intervention and support to patients experiencing acute psychiatric crises, including assessment of risk and safety planning.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, AND other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care. Participate in case conferences and monthly staff meetings.
- Medical Records and Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Education and Research: Stay current with advances in psychiatry through continuous education and training. Contribute to the development of best practices within the field.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- A master’s or doctorate degree from an accredited institution or graduate program in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing.
- Board Certified PMHNP
- Active/Unrestricted DEA License
- Active APRN Delaware License
- Controlled Substance Registration – APRN Delaware License
- Registration with the state’s Prescription Drug Monitoring Program
- A minimum of 2 years’ post-grad experience practicing as a PMHNP with adults, preferably in a hybrid outpatient setting (i.e., in person and telehealth)
- Active malpractice insurance
KNOWLEDGE | SKILLS | ABILITIES
- Excellent clinical knowledge and written communication skills.
- A willingness and passion to expand clinical skill set through continuing education and a commitment to evidence-based practice
- Ability to deal professionally, courteously, and efficiently with the public and to remain calm under stress.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn programs, such as (i.e. Hushmail, RingCentral, Valant EHR, Quickbooks Workforce), within reasonable time.
- Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of client, staff and agency information when providing support.
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively in team settings.
- Informed on state tele-health policies
- Comfortable with technology and conducting sessions via tele-health
- Strong ability to identify markers for appropriate level of care to meet patient needs
- Experience with treating a variety of conditions and disorders as part of a comprehensive treatment plan with an interdisciplinary team
- Ability to in office and work remote private location
