Advanced Practice Provider (NP / PA) - Surgical Oncology New

A leading healthcare facility in New Jersey is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support their Outpatient Surgical Oncology team for a 4-month assignment. This role will provide clinical coverage while the facility recruits permanent staff.

About the Opportunity:

• Assignment Length: 4+ months (possible extension)
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, days only
• Setting: Outpatient Surgical Oncology (office-based)

Responsibilities:

• Providing outpatient support to the surgical oncology team
• Managing pre- and post-operative patient care
• Conducting evaluations and follow-ups
• Collaborating with physicians and clinical staff
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in EMR

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) program
• Active NJ Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) license
• Solid assessment, clinical and documentaiton skills
• Great interpersonal skills and communication skills

• CDS / DEA registration
• Experience in Oncology and/or Surgical settings
• Excellent clinical and organizational abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
