Greetings from the NPADC President

Posted over 7 years ago by Sandra Davis

Greetings NPADC,

I am excited to serve as President of the organization this year! We closed-out last year with increased attendance at our June meeting and I would like to carry that momentum into this year. In fact, the Board's goal for this year is to strengthen and grow the organization.

There are NP clinicians, educators, researchers, students and policy experts working in DC to ensure the highest quality of care to patients. In this time of health delivery system reform input, from NPs in all of these roles, is critical to lead the change that is needed. Thus, our motto and messaging for this year is Get Involved; Stay Informed.

NPADC meetings offer networking, important legislative updates, education, interprofessional networking opportunities, professional growth and a forum for you to have a voice.

Our first meeting is Thursday, September 15th, 6:00 pm at Maggiano's in Friendship Heights

Please mark your calendars for September 15th and for subsequent meeting dates listed below:

  • November 10th
  • February 9th
  • April 13th
  • June 8th

Times and locations will be announced well in advance of the scheduled meetings.

In closing, I am delighted to introduce this year's Board Members:
