AANP State Awards

Posted over 7 years ago by Cathy Hampton

The deadline of October 10, 2016 is fast approaching for the AANP State Awards.  These include:

1/ The NP State Award for Excellence, which is given annually to an individual NP in each state who has demonstrated excellence in NP clinical practice.

2/ The Advocate State Award for Excellence, which is given annually to an individual in each state who has made a significant contribution toward increasing awareness and recognition of NPs.

Neither the nominating NP nor the NP recipient need be an AANP member.  Please consider nominating a colleague, peer or NP who has made a difference in your career personally or to the profession as a whole.  The nomination is simple, please follow this link: https://stateawards.aanp.org/Nominator/Edit?awardID=11

Recognition will be made nationally at the AANP conference in Philadelphia PA in June 2017 and locally at the NPADC meeting during NP Week in November.

There are many many deserving NPs in the District of Columbia that should be nominated.  To date, there are NO nominations for the District.  Lets put the District out there and nominate our colleagues!
