The MedStar Heart and Vascular Institute is pleased to be hosting the annual, “Frontline Cardiology: Cardiovascular Care in the Community,” taking place next Saturday, May 6, 2017 at the College Park Marriott Hotel & Conference Center in Hyattsville, MD. 

 Previously titled, Cardiology for the Primary Care Practitioner,  this one-day educational symposium will address a spectrum of cardiology topics with a focus on practical approaches to commonly encountered cardiac problems by primary care practitioners.

 Frontline Cardiology: Cardiovascular Care in the Community will include discussions on managing lipids-statins, PCSK-9 inhibitors, care for cancer survivors, ultrasounds, pacemakers, and revascularization. Designed as an interactive forum, the meeting will present primary care providers and cardiologists with the latest information applicable to patient care, from experts in the field.

 MedStar Heart & Vascular Institute is dedicated to educating best practices in the field of cardiology. Therefore, we are offering registration as low as $25 to attend this dynamic program. As an additional incentive participants at the meeting are eligible to receive up to 6.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
