Overview

Hosted by the MedStar Pituitary Center, this dinner series is designed to provide information on the diagnosis and management of pituitary tumors and the management of pituitary disease. This interactive program will included multidisciplinary case presentations from MedStar Pituitary Center's in-house physicians and provide ample time for questions and discussion.  Research protocols and review of literature may also occur.

Objectives

After completing this activity, the participant will be able to;

  1. Recognize the normal anatomy and hormonal function of the pituitary gland and the imaging appearance of pituitary tumors.
  2. Describe the clinical presentation and hormonal evaluation of pituitary tumors.
  3. Identify the indications for surgical, medical and radiation treatment of pituitary tumors.

Registration is complimentary for healthcare practitioners, Advanced Registration is Required.
