Nominations are now open for the prestigious 2019 AANP State Award for Excellence.

We encourage you to consider nominating a colleague, mentor, or someone who has made an impact on your career.  Nominations must be submitted electronically to AANP on the official 2019 AANP State Award Nomination Form no later than October 10, 2018.

  • Nominators must be a current AANP member to nominate a candidate; however the nominee does not have to be an AANP member.

The NP State Award for Excellence is given annually to an individual NP who has demonstrated excellence in NP clinical practice.

The Advocate State Award for Excellence is given to an individual who has made a significant contribution toward increasing awareness and recognition of NPs.  Examples of past recipients include legislators, educators, and physicians.  NPs are also eligible for the advocate award for non-clinical practice initiatives related to leadership, precepting, policy, politics, education or community affairs.

To nominate, go to myAANP to login and complete application:  https://my.aanp.org/

We would also like to recognize our outgoing 2018 State Award Recipients (see attached photos).  Ms. Courtney Plasden was recipient of our NP State Award for Excellence.  Ms. Lauren Inouye was received the Advocate State Award for Excellence.
