The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is accepting applications for the fiscal year (FY) 2019 Nurse Anesthetist Traineeship (NAT) Program funding opportunity. The application cycle closes on April 15, 2019.

The purpose of the NAT Program is to increase the number of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) providing care, especially to rural and underserved populations nationally. The program’s aim is to support accredited institutions training CRNAs to deliver evidence-based, high-quality, and safe anesthesia and services related to the management and treatment of acute and chronic pain.

Approximately $2.25 million will be available to fund approximately 80 awards for FY 2019.
