AARP seeking consumers who want to celebrate their nurses

Posted about 9 years ago by Andrea Brassard

To celebrate National Nurses Week, May 6-12, AARP and the Future of Nursing: Campaign for Action are looking for people of all ages who live in the greater Washington, D.C. area and want to share a story about a nurse's care to say thank you. AARP is seeking people who have been cared for by an APRN or RN in a hospital, home or any setting, and are willing to talk on camera about the experience and impact on their life.

If selected, consumers will be asked to visit AARP's studios in downtown Washington, D.C. to tell their story for a one-minute video. This will be part of a series of videos created and shared online through social media to celebrate and thank nurses everywhere for their important contributions to our nation's health during National Nurses Week.

If  interested, please fill out this form or contact Meredith Courville directly at mcourville@aarp.org . If you know of someone who might be interested in participating, please forward this announcement. AARP staff will review all submissions and will be contacting select candidates directly.
